As Donald Trump danced to YMCA at a White House propaganda event on July 4th, hell broke loose in Kerr County, Texas.
Flash floods ravaged the Guadalupe River after a staggering 13 inches of rain fell, causing a mass casualty event. At least 24 people are confirmed dead, including children, and 23 campers at Camp Mystic are still missing. While families prayed for their loved ones, Trump was golfing and partying, completely ignoring the catastrophe — until he was cornered by reporters on Air Force One, hours later.
“Oh, that’s terrible… we’ll take care of it,” Trump mumbled, offering zero specifics as families begged for boats, for help — anything.
Let’s be clear: this disaster was made worse by Trump’s own policies.
Texas officials are now blaming the National Weather Service for providing an inaccurate forecast that failed to predict the flood’s devastating scale. But who gutted that very agency?
Donald Trump.
He slashed funding for the National Weather Service and NOAA, firing hundreds of experienced staff, cutting crucial balloon launches, and crippling storm forecasting systems. Experts warned this would cost lives.
Now it has.
Even the Department of Homeland Security posted a July 4th tribute with only 45 stars on the flag — fitting for a regime that’s been ripping stars off the Constitution one by one.
At a press conference, Texas officials admitted they never saw this coming:
“We got a forecast of 4–8 inches. We got nearly double that. No one told us this would happen.”
But the National Weather Service had already been degraded. Meteorologist John Morales, a 34-year veteran in Miami, warned just last month that forecasting confidence has been destroyed:
“I used to be sure. Now, I’m not. Because of these Trump-era cuts, we are flying blind.”
And when asked why the camps weren’t evacuated ahead of time, the Kerr County Judge had no answer. He said, “We didn’t know this kind of flood was coming.” That silence? That’s what Trump’s war on science sounds like.
And just to show you how broken this system is under MAGA rule — Trump’s Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, literally said FEMA “needs to go away.” She wants to eliminate the agency responsible for saving lives in emergencies like this.
Meanwhile, Marjorie Taylor Greene’s big solution to this mass casualty event? Introducing a bill to criminalize “weather modification” because she thinks hurricanes are fake. Not a word about the actual disaster in Texas. Just conspiracy nonsense.
“Fake weather. Fake flooding. Fake hurricanes.” – MAGA candidate Candace Taylor
This is the chaos you get when extremists run the government:
- No FEMA
- No emergency response
- No accurate forecasts
- And no accountability
Just propaganda rallies, performative patriotism, and people dying while they dance.
